In 2026, the United States will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence—a milestone often referred to as America250. Across the country, museums, libraries, and cultural institutions are exploring the nation’s past while inviting communities to reflect on its future.
The Irving Archives & Museum (IAM) is proud to participate in this national observance through exhibitions, programs, and community-driven initiatives that highlight innovation, civic participation, and the many voices that shape the American story.
Throughout 2026, IAM will present exhibitions, conversations, and participatory experiences designed to inspire reflection on the nation’s history and invite residents to share their own hopes for the future.
