Visit Irving and the Irving Archives and Museum have partnered to present History on the House, offering FREE museum admission throughout October in celebration of Arts and Culture Month and IAM’s award-winning season. In celebration of the partnership, IAM opened Destination Irving: The Making of a Convention Center. Centered on a large architectural model, the exhibition explores how the Irving Convention Center was designed and built and its role in the city’s visitor economy. This partnership gives residents and visitors an opportunity to explore Irving’s history while showing how tourism helps support the city’s cultural resources. Destination Irving: The Making of a Convention Center is on view at IAM through November 29, 2026. More here.
