9/11 Remembered
In recognition of the twenty-fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Irving Archives and Museum presents 9/11 Remembered, a temporary exhibition reflecting on the tragedy’s lasting impact and how it was experienced and remembered within the Irving community.
The exhibition features local newspapers and materials from the museum’s archives, along with United Heroes, an oil painting by Irving artist Jennifer Eye Seay honoring the courage of the passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93. Visitors are also invited to share their own memories and reflections as we remember the lives lost, those who responded with extraordinary bravery, and a day that forever changed our nation.
